Christine’s extensive travels for over 20 years have led her to exhibit in solo and group exhibitions in France, Hong Kong, Italy, Spain, Canada, the United Arab Emirates and Australia. Other solo accomplishments include the Noosa Regional Gallery, and Adelaide’s Contemporary Art Centre of South Australia. With more than 18 solo exhibitions and 60 group exhibitions in her extensive biography, Christine’s noted exhibitions include showing twice in the Salon International de Artes Plastics in Barcelona where she won the Mencion d’Honor a la Abstraccio Award, Bark Modern Art in Hong Kong, Catherine Asquith Gallery in Melbourne and Gallery Gora in Montreal. She has twice been selected to exhibit at the Melbourne and Sydney Affordable Art shows and her work is in numerous private and corporate collections worldwide. “A journey in Africa in 1989 was the emotional shock that changed my life. I started to look at the world differently. This experience had a profound influence on my work. For the first time I had the feeling to be connected to the land. After traveling the world, we chose to live in Australia where nature is overwhelming and colours so strong and amazing that they look unreal.” She is committed to abstraction. She relies on colour and texture as a means of expressing her feelings and to make things visible. Her abstract works are passionate and charged with emotions. They captive both the eyes and imagination. Trained as a private pilot, she has developed a sky vision that is reflected in her interpretation of landscape. In her studio surrounded by nature she works almost every day and in 5 years has produced a body of work of 150 paintings. Fluent in Italian and English as well as French Christine feels a true citizen of the world.
